The Haves Have It most definitely have it! Formed in 2005 by Portia Richardson and Jenn Gallup, and joined by drummer Kelly Pollock in 2006, this trio packs one sexy punch! That is if you like it loud, distorted, thoughtfully melodic, and always sweaty. Richardson's voice is all her own; mean, boyish, sultry, and haunting. Her stories dance opposite of Gallup's defiantly playful bass lines, volleying the tension back and forth over Pollock's chunky syncopated drumming. Songs swing wildly from coy come-hither to deafening crescendos. Live, The Haves leave their mark: intuitive, unrestrained, and bewitching.

Tracks from their initial 2006 EP, as well as the recent single "Where You Left It" recorded in June of 2007, have been featured on local Twin Cities radio stations The Current 89.3, KFAI 90.3, and RADIO K 106.5fm and 770am. March of 2008 will see the anticipated release of their first full length album, followed by continued touring throughout the year. So don't let their nerdy jokes and freckles fool you, they mean serious business. But first and foremost, The Haves Have It always have fun!
