Voltage 2007 is fast approaching, scheduled for April 11th at First Avenue.
Start the party a week early by helping us celebrate the release of the 2007 Voltage Compilation CD at Clubhouse Jaeger on Wednesday night April 4th. There’s much fun to be had. Great music, great people, and great drinks ($2 PBR’s.)
Jake Rudh (host of Transmission every Wednesday night at Clubhouse Jager) will be spinning the CD and offering up some great prizes including copies of the disc and your chance to attend Voltage 2007 w/ a guest for free!

Minneapolis, MN, March 2007 – You saw the fashions, you heard the music, and you experienced the show. Now is your opportunity to support the designers and businesses that helped make 2007’s Voltage: Fashion Amplified into the event of the season.
In our continuing mission to support and elevate the local fashion scene we would like to invite you to participate in Voltage: Fashion Weekend, an opportunity for our runway designers to show and sell their work to the fashionable Twin Cities’ populous.
Fashion weekend seeks to provide our designers with a platform of local fashion boutiques to make their hard work pay off, literally. Events this year will take place at Cliche, ROBOTlove, and Design Collective. Local boutiques selling couture from local, national, and global design labels.

Fashion Weekend Event Schedule:
Friday, April 13th
ROBOTlove: 12-5pm
HyperLush will launch its retail line of men’s and women’s clothing, limited edition graphic t-shirts, dresses, handkerchiefs, and other paraphernalia at ROBOTlove. Also that weekend, in conjunction with the launch of the retail line, Hyper Lush will be exhibiting artwork, process drawings, artifacts, test prints, and animations at The Toomer Gallery: 2640 Lyndale Avenue South, located within the Soo Visual Arts Center (next door to ROBOTlove). The Toomer Gallery’s special weekend exhibition of Hyper Lush will run Friday/Saturday/Sunday from 12-5pm each day.
Cliche Open House; 5-7pm
Live window models featuring local Voltage designers. Local hair stylist Jesse Pool will be available for appointments within the store to style you up for the evening.
L’Etoile Magazine Spring/Summer Issue Launch Party: 8pm-1am

A fashionable party to celebrate the launch of local fashion magazine L’Etoile’s spring/summer edition. Expect Dj’s, Dancing, special giveaways and much more!

HYPERLUSH Artist Signing: 1-3pm
Continuation of Friday’s event at ROBOTlove and The Toomer Gallery. Additionally, the artists and creators of HyperLush will be appearing at The Toomer Gallery.
